Care Package FAQWhy choose ShowYaCare.com for your care package needs?We did our homework. We talked to college students, soldiers, kids who go to summer camp, new homeowners, and friends and family to find out what they really want in a care package. Our packages are built to reflect their input. We didn't include a bunch of fancy stuff that'll perish in a box. We created care packages that include brands we know and trust. Plus, we think our packages are very reasonably priced. Why? Because, just like you, we don't like spending extra money just to spend it. And, if you compare our packages and customer service to the competition, and you think someone else is better, then we're not doing something right. When will my care package ship?Orders received on Monday-Friday by 4 p.m. should ship the same day. Any package ordered after 4 p.m. on Friday and any time on Saturday or Sunday will ship out Monday. If for some reason the package doesn't ship out same day, it will ship out the following business day. If you need to expedite an order, please choose the appropriate shipping option during checkout, or if you'd rather call us to discuss options, please don't hesitate to call us toll-free @ 1.866.889.4372. See "Shipping/Returns" for more details. How can I personalize my care package?Each care package includes a free custom message which you can create during the check out process. Another great idea is to send a framed photo ($7). You email us a photo. We'll print and frame it in a 4 x 6 frame and send it along with your care package. How will my college student know they have received a care package?Most colleges and universities have a notification system to let students know they've received a care package. Some students do not check their mail everyday so we would be happy to send them an email notifying them to keep an eye out for a special delivery. In the "Special Instructions" box, please let us know you would like an email sent to the recipient and include their email address. Why are some care packages not available to purchase?We only offer the "Chocolate Lovers" package from October through May to ensure the contents don't melt in the summer heat. We've found people don't like melted chocolate. We currently offer our "camp" care packages, since it's the summer time. But, since North Carolina just switched to year-round schools, we suppose we'll be looking into offering these care packages year-round as well. Keep checking in with www.ShowYaCare.com, as our package offerings do change. Do you substitute items in care packages for food allergies or special dietary needs?Sure! We'd be happy to substitute items in the care packages for items of equal or greater value. In the "Special Instructions" box, please list each of the items you need substituted and what ingredient(s) you need to omit. We would be happy to take care of that for you. How do I submit a photo to the Troop Gallery?This is a special feature for anyone who has shipped a care package to a member of the Armed Forces. Please go to our "Troop Gallery" and click on the link to submit a photo of your package recipient. Allow 24 hours for photo approval and posting. If you do not see your photo within 24 hours, it probably will appear as a rotation of photos. Give the "rotator" a few seconds to start rotating. How does the ShowYaCare.com Club work?For those that want to send care packages more frequently to people, and save money at the same time, then the "ShowYaCare.com Club" is for you. We currently have two options, the "4-Timer" and the "6-Timer". Chose the number, and then choose either "College" or "Military". Finally, you let us know what months you want the care packages sent. The first care package will ship as soon as possible and all subsequent care packages will ship on or close to the first of the month. You'll be billed for the total of all packages when the order is initially placed. ShowYaCare.com club discounts cannot be combined with any other offers. If you want to send packages to multiple recipients, it's easiest to just e-mail us the addresses directly @ info@ShowYaCare.com. For the processing of the order, just enter one of the addresses. Can I purchase and send an item in the "Extras" section separately?Sorry, at this time we only offer "Extras" with the purchase of a care package.
